No GPS fix? Chip says so instead of inventing a yardage. Data missing? “Check the phone.” A caddie you can trust is one that admits what he doesn’t know.

A WHS-style index, honestly labeled
The same World Handicap System math the USGA publishes, computed from your rounds: trend arrow, 365-day low, confidence tag, and a timeline of every revision. The Playing Today card converts it for the tees you’re about to play: course handicap, playing handicap, done.

Pick a video from your camera roll, tap impact, apex, and landing, and the app paints a parabolic arc on top of the clip. A short MP4 the foursome will watch ten times before they finish their beers.

Does my foursome need iPhones too?
No. You can run the round solo on your phone for the whole group: toggle each player on the scorecard, score for them, and the bets settle the same way. They’ll just see the recap on the group chat when you share it.
Does it work without cell signal?
Yes. The whole thing runs on your phone. GPS works on the phone’s satellite radio, no tower needed. Your round saves locally and shows up on your friends’ feeds when you’re back in coverage.
Will my course be in there?
You map any course the first time you play it: drop the tee, pin, and an aim point per hole. Takes a few minutes per nine, and it’s yours forever. No waiting on someone else to add your home track.
What if I don’t know how Wolf works?
The app does. Pick the game at the first tee, score each hole, and the app shows you who owes who in plain English at the end. Every game has a rules card you can pull up mid-round if you forget.
Is the voice caddie listening to me all round?
No. Chip is push-to-talk; the mic is live only while your finger is on the button. The clip is transcribed, answered, and discarded. It’s never stored, never used to train anything, and Chip only talks golf.
Is this a gambling app?
No money moves through Breakfast Ball. It’s a scorekeeper and a ledger for whatever your group already plays for: points, dollars, or breakfast. The settle-up list just ends the math argument.
What about Android?
Not yet. The Watch app is the soul of this thing, and watchOS is iPhone-only. Android support is on the long-term list, not the launch list.
Where does my data go?
Your rounds live on your phone and work fully offline. Sign-in (Apple or Google) is optional; it exists for friend codes, live rounds, and backup, and that sync is scoped to your crew, not a public network. You can wipe everything in one tap from Settings.
